Choosing a face mask can be a stressful decision at times, as it requires mainly two things. First of all, time, in order to get the correct mask for your specific skin type, among, almost, the countless choices out there. Secondly, money, that you sometimes just do not have the desire (or even the capability) to spend, as it might be a fair amount. 

What do you have to do then? Would you just leave your skin without its necessary care? No, of course not! The solution to this problem lies in your own kitchen! You can make your own face mask, with simple, everyday ingredients.

Here’s an easy DIY face mask, for every skin type, that will make your skin thrive!

Ingredients That You Will Need:
– Banana
– Orange Juice
– Honey

Step 1: Take a banana, cut it in half, peel it and mash it in a bowl.

Step 2: Mix inside the bowl, a table spoon of orange juice, and a table spoon of honey. Mix until a thick paste is created.

Step 3: Wash your face with water (soften’s the skin/hydration), and dry it thoroughly with a towel.

Step 4: Apply the mask to your face, and keep the mixture on for 15 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse with lukewarm water.

This face mask, will provide your skin with nutritients and give you a healthy and all natural glow. But why does it actually work? Let’s just take a brief look at the ingredients and the reasons they help with your face/skin health.

Banana

Orange Juice

Thanks to the strong antioxidants and calcium, found naturally in oranges, the decrease and prevention of free radicals (molecules responsible mainly for skin cell damage) is possible. The vitamins and the trace elements inside orange juice act against wrinkles, and prevent relaxation and premature aging of the skin.
